There is a saying I have heard many times and it seems to apply to my life today.
"Life is what happens when we are busy making other plans."
Dave and I received some devastating financial news just last week that will change our lives going forward. We will need to return home from our mission--hopefully temporarily. We plan to sell our home and begin making a different plan for our long term future.
Our short time in the mission field has been amazing. We have loved working with the missionaries in this mission. They are the best--so hard-working and loving and smart! We have loved learning from the Japanese culture and way of life. We know the Lord loves us and has a plan for us. We trust Him and know that all things will work together for our good and according to His divine will.

Oh, Kelly! I’m so sorry! I heard someone say when stuff like this happens (and it does seem to happen to everyone at one time or another) you just shout “Plot twist!”. Then move on to what happens next and trust that Heavenly Father has something better in mind for you. (Ever thought of living in Arizona? That’s what happened to us. LOL).
